Theogony: origins and kinship

A main source for the initial dataset, with passage references preserving the context of each relationship.

Also known as: Theogony · Hesiod · เฮซิออด · ธีโอโกนี

How this source is used

The initial dataset consults H. G. Evelyn-White’s 1914 English translation as presented by Theoi. Each claim retains a passage reference.

Lines 116–138 support Gaia, Ouranos and the Titans; 188–206 support Aphrodite’s emergence; 453–500 support Rhea, Kronos and Zeus.

The Thai entries are newly written explanations, not reproductions of a copyrighted Thai translation. We do not claim a word-by-word examination of the Greek manuscript tradition.
